Gamania Group Tackles the AI Hallucination Challenge: Vyin AI’s Two Core Solutions Transform Enterprise Intelligence

Generative AI is reshaping the gaming industry, with an increasing number of companies using it to streamline game development. To capture this trend, AWS recently hosted Taiwan’s first “AI Navigator: Boundless Gaming and Entertainment Technology” forum, exploring the vast potential of generative AI in gaming. At the forum, Vyin AI’s solutions for tackling AI hallucinations emerged as a highlight, showcasing proven, real-world applications.

The Risks of AI Hallucinations in Enterprise Use of GenAI

AI hallucinations occur when AI-generated content seems accurate but is filled with errors, falsehoods, or misleading information. These risks have slowed the adoption of GenAI by businesses, especially after legal actions in 2023 spotlighted the repercussions of AI hallucinations.

To curb the issue of generative AI being "confidently wrong," two common methods are widely used today: fine-tuning models with RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) or applying standard RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques. However, both approaches have notable limitations.

Benjamin Chen, Chief Strategy Officer and head of Gamania Group's AI Innovation Lab, explains that fine-tuning models involves packing as much data as possible into a large language model (LLM). However, users face challenges in controlling how AI arranges and combines text outputs, and they must define numerous rules to constrain responses within a specific framework—creating ongoing maintenance issues with these rules. As for standard RAG techniques, their primary limitation lies in data segmentation and indexing, which often leads to disorganized information and does little to reduce AI hallucinations.

Vyin AI has developed a human-like AI brain with two core technologies to solve the problem of AI hallucinations.

In response, Vyin AI has revolutionised mainstream approaches by creating two proprietary technologies to address AI hallucinations. The first involves designing an LLM model that emulates the human brain. Traditional LLMs function with a single neural center, handling all tasks such as knowledge comprehension and language expression.

Vyin AI, however, has segmented its AI brain into five distinct centers: control, language, knowledge, context, and action, with each center dedicated to a specific task. “Just like the human brain, which has specialized regions for motor control, social interactions, cognition, and language understanding,” says Benjamin, “Vyin AI’s brain functions more like a human brain.” This design enhances AI’s comprehension and decision-making abilities, allowing it to handle complex tasks with greater flexibility.

The second innovation is Vyin AI’s proprietary Distilled RAG framework, which structures unstructured data and categorises it under relevant entries—essentially creating a custom library indexing system for AI. When Vyin AI needs to answer a question, it can reference this index to retrieve accurate answers swiftly, significantly improving response precision. “While the accuracy rate for standard RAG structures averages around 53%, our D-RAG framework achieves 93%,” Benjamin emphasizes.

Vyin AI Application 1: Vyin Brain Text-Based Customer Service Bot - Over 80% Autonomous Problem Resolution, Reducing Workforce Burden

Building on these two core technologies, Vyin AI has developed two flagship products: Vyin Brain and Vyin Sales. Vyin Brain focuses on text-based customer service, helping companies reduce the burden on customer support staff.

For example, Gamania Group implemented Vyin Brain in its flagship game Maple Story, where it achieved an 83% autonomous problem resolution rate during peak gaming seasons, with zero high-risk responses and a 98% customer satisfaction rate. Additionally, the large-scale game Wars of Prasia has integrated Vyin Brain on certain platforms as the first line of customer service. Here, the bot resolved 97% of issues independently, minimizing the need for human intervention and allowing human agents to focus on more valuable tasks.

Benjamin believes Vyin Brain can help companies significantly reduce operating costs, making it an ideal solution for high-labor-cost regions such as Europe and North America, where it will be a primary target market.

Additionally, Southeast Asian countries, with their large domestic markets and rapid business growth, have shown a strong demand for customer service bots and will also be a focus for Vyin Brain. In Taiwan, Vyin Brain will primarily target large enterprises with high customer inquiry volumes.

Vyin AI Application 2: Vyin Sales - Interactive Conversational Service for Hyper-Personalised Experiences, Driving Revenue Growth

Built on the foundation of Vyin Brain, Vyin Sales expands into a variety of interactive conversational services beyond text. Users can input data in formats such as text, voice, images, and video, and Vyin Sales will generate personalized product recommendations or IP-based content, including images, voice, music, and videos. This functionality helps businesses enhance consumer experiences, ultimately driving revenue growth.

For example, Gamania Group developed the JAM JAM RADIO DJ webpage for the Taipei Music Center’s "JAM JAM ASIA" event in September. The page features an embedded AI virtual assistant that recommends the perfect music based on users' current mood. This assistant leverages extensive public data to gain a deep understanding of each artist's background and style, conducting mood analysis on music and interpreting users' emotions and intentions through conversational input. This allows the AI to make highly accurate, mood-aligned song recommendations.

Benjamin describes Vyin Sales as the ultimate revenue booster for businesses, benefiting industries from retail and telehealth to real estate by enhancing consumer experiences. For instance, many niche brands are now setting up counters in department stores. By integrating Vyin Sales, department stores can promote these niche brands more effectively, offering customers tailored brand recommendations based on their preferences. This creates a personalized and thoughtful shopping experience, strengthens the unique appeal of department stores, attracts new customers to niche brands in a win-win-win scenario.

Real estate companies can use Vyin Sales as a virtual sales agent to interact with customers on their websites, providing information about a property’s surrounding area, future development potential, and other details, engaging customers in a two-way conversation that builds interest in the property. By the time customers visit the property in person, the sales agent only needs to handle the final steps of the sale. This setup significantly reduces the time spent on repetitive conversations and property tours, boosting sales efficiency.

The telehealth industry can leverage Vyin Sales to enhance services across four areas: prevention, companionship, reminders, and care. Virtual assistants can interact frequently with elderly users, providing the psychological comfort of companionship they often need. This helps reduce the heavy workload on caregivers, who may be responsible for dozens of patients, allowing them to focus on providing essential, hands-on assistance where it’s most needed.

"Vyin AI will fundamentally transform how businesses communicate with their users, enabling true two-way interactions and a deeply personalized experience," says Benjamin enthusiastically. Beyond supporting large enterprises with tailored projects, Orange Group also plans to launch Vyin AI as a SaaS offering by Q3 2025. This move will allow small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide to leverage Vyin AI’s technology modules to accelerate their growth trajectory.
