《NEXT GIRLZ》, a Talent Show Supported by Gamania, Won the 59th Golden Bell Award for “Best Entertainment Show”

The 59th Golden Bell Awards ceremony, the most significant ceremony in the entertainment industry in Taiwan, took place on October 17th. 《NEXT GIRLZ》, a popular talent show, won the highest honor “Best Entertainment Show.”

In recent years, the senior producer 詹仁雄, the “star-maker,” joined forces with Gamania Group and the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (文策院) to establish “TPOP Entertainment,” an entertainment and producing company dedicated to advancing Taiwanese idol culture. Talent shows such as《ATOM BOYZ》 and《NEXT GIRLZ》have achieved remarkable success.

With the successful example of 《ATOM BOYZ》,《NEXT GIRLZ》delivered an even greater impact. It emphasized more on audience voting to increase the interactivity in the competition process.

《NEXT GIRLZ》was a dedication to quality production. For the entire 12 episodes, lots of contestants, makeup artists, guests, camera crew, lighting, set design, and backstage staff were involved, gathering up to 200 people on set. The production often ran into late-night hours.

This year,《ATOM BOYZ》released its second season while《NEXT GIRLZ》won the top award for “Best Entertainment Show.” These talent shows have brought fresh air to Taiwan’s music and entertainment industry and opened new doors for future idols and talents.
